Official institutional policy
01
Completion and conferral
Completion of coursework does not by itself confer an award. Before conferral, the Registrar verifies identity, enrollment, the applicable curriculum, final results for all requirements, academic standing and any additional published completion condition. The conferral date is the date recorded by the authorized institutional action, and cannot precede completion of the requirements.
02
Official records and documents
The transcript and official grade report state the academic record. A diploma is a formal representation of the award and does not replace the transcript. Each issued credential has an immutable issuance snapshot, authorized signatories where applicable, a unique verification code and a public verification record that discloses only what is necessary to establish validity.
03
Correction, replacement and revocation
A clerical correction or replacement preserves the audit history and identifies the relationship to the prior issue. Revocation requires documented authority and a material basis, including fraud, identity misrepresentation, an invalid conferral or a serious error that made the credential inaccurate. A revoked credential remains visible to its holder as a historical record and is prominently marked as not valid; public verification reports the revoked status.
